Insurance Gurus LLC was born out of the idea that getting good insurance doesn’t have to be a dull, lifeless experience. After three years as a captive agent with Shelter Insurance I felt I needed options for my customers as their lives change. Your insurance can skyrocket quickly when you add a teenage driver, have a claim or if you get divorced and take a hit on your credit score. With just one carrier to offer, my customers options were either to pay the increase or shop for a new insurance agent.
As an insurance agent the relationship to my customers was important to me and I didn’t want to see them to have to pay any more than they did. That’s why I became an independent insurance agent and started Insurance Gurus. Now I have access to more insurance carriers and better rates. More options means my clients don’t have to leave to find a better value.
